Responsibilities




Customer Complaint Management


Lead investigation and resolution of customer complaints through collaboration with T&I, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Operations. Research production history in Sibelco databases. Conduct Root Cause Analysis and manage / track implementation of Corrective Actions. Issue RCCA reports to customers. Conduct routine tours and/or inspections of


plants and processes to ensure effective implementation of Corrective Actions.


Quality


Regularly monitor and report on operating / quality trends of plants and finished products. Identify trends and notify operations, sales, and customers as necessary. Work with operations to identify the cause of unanticipated trends and resolve deviations. Produce quality reports as required by customers.


Be involved in technical meetings/teams whose objectives directly impact quality and customer results. Visiting plants frequently to understand changes that may impact quality. Review operator procedures to identify areas of potential quality impact.


Oversee and track changes that impact the customer that may originate in the plants, analytical services, or other areas.


Logically organize, monitor, and communicate status of quality related projects that result from customer interactions, quality inspections, complaints, and meetings.


Relationship management


Develop strong relationships with technical representatives of Sibelco's customers to gain greater understanding, visibility, and impact upon the technical demands, expectations, and requirements. Solicit customers and monitor industry technology trends for generation of new products. Trial new products with customers.


Influence Key Decision Makers


Develop relationship with opinion leaders (i.e. people / companies which support customers in taking decisions) such as Prescribers, Machinery producers, Consultants etc. .


Continuous Improvement


Develop detailed understandings of our customers' processes to assist in problem solving and continuous improvement for both Sibelco and our customers.


Assist plant sites with the development of annual Continuous Improvement Plans and Process Assessments that relate to our customers.


Perform Market Intelligence


Develop knowledge of market situation understand product of competition and competitive advantages of Sibelco Products, support Directors and VP in determination of market share and wallet share with customers.


Product specifications


Work closely with customers, Operations and Sales to define product specifications that are agreeable to both parties when issues arise
