Job Summary

T.C. REPAIR & SUPPLY require a Technical Salesperson.

We specialise in the repair and supply of tank cleaning machinery and associated equipment for the marine & industrial sector.

Ocean going vessels are fitted with a tank cleaning system which is used to clean the tanks during the discharge of the vessel's cargo.

Similar machinery is used for cleaning storage vessels in the brewery & pharmaceutical industry

The applicant should have an understanding of mechanical fitting, but full training on the many types of the more common tank cleaning machines will be given.

This will entail some work shop bench work and machine testing in our purpose-built test tank.
The applicant will then, when considered confident enough, move on to the selling of machines and components and dealing directly with our UK & Overseas customers, both through the telephone or E-mail.

In house training on both sales and repairs to the machines as this provides the salesperson with an in-depth knowledge of the goods they are selling.

It is imperative that the applicant has a good command of the English language both spoken and written.

The successful applicant may be required to travel to visit customers, both in the UK & overseas, so should have a valid passport & clean UK driving licence.

Some mechanical experience beneficial as the successful applicant will need to understand the inner workings of a wide variety of machines.

Must be able to work well within a small team and be happy to assist with other roles within the company due to small the number of staff.

A basic knowledge of spread sheets & word processing software is essential, and experience with E-commerce platforms is an advantage.
