Role Overview
We are seeking a
Technical Sales Support Specialist
with a strong interest in
engineering and manufacturing
. This role involves:
Providing
telephone and helpdesk support
to customers and end-users.
Assisting with
technical product selection
, negotiating, and closing deals.
Researching
market trends
, generating leads, and supporting business development.
Acting as a key link between customers and the sales team.
Interpreting
engineering drawings
and applying commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Work in compliance with
ISO 9001:2015
and
ISO 14001
standards.
Communicate with customers to identify needs and sales opportunities.
Answer queries, resolve concerns, and provide technical product information.
Maintain accurate records of prospects, quotes, orders, and stock.
Research new leads and monitor competitor activity.
Upsell products and make recommendations to customers and management.
Hours
9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday - Friday
Skills & Experience
Ability to read and interpret
engineering technical drawings
.
Experience with
ISO 9001
and
ISO 14001
processes.
Strong
negotiation
,
communication
, and
organisational skills
.
IT proficiency with databases and spreadsheets.
Experience of or exposure to
tooling or toolmaking
processes would be highly beneficial.
Education
A recognised Engineering Qualification (e.g. BTEC/HND/Degree) would be preferred.
