Role Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Technical Sales Trainee to join our team in the plastics manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to build a solid foundation in both technical product knowledge and professional sales skills.

You will receive structured training on our materials, manufacturing processes, customer applications, and sales techniques. Under the guidance of senior staff, you will gradually take on responsibility for supporting customers and eventually managing your own accounts.

Objectives

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Company's plastic manufacturing processes, materials, product range, and quality standards. To provide administrative support, liaising with others as necessary, to ensure the smooth running of the Company's commercial operation. Support the commercial team with customer queries, quotations, and technical information as knowledge increases. To maintain good supplier and customer relationships and to ensure that all enquiries are communicated internally in order that the most accurate, meaningful, and timely response can be made. Answering/ screening and directing incoming calls to relevant departments. Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and to provide exceptional customer service. To make telephone contact with prospects, customers and suppliers as required. To report on all contact activity through agreed reports, customer records, meeting participation and daily internal communication. To undertake training as required to meet Company and personal goals.
