We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated individual to take responsibility for the servicing and repair of our ultrasound machines. This position does not require prior experience with ultrasound technology; the core focus is on organising the service pipeline and computer and electronic repair, including diagnosing faults, working with Windows operating systems, and handling electronic circuit boards.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate service records, updating our CRM system, and supporting compliance with ISO certification requirements. The role requires independent problem-solving, as you will often liaise directly with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair ultrasound systems, including hardware, circuit boards, and Windows operating systems
Maintain service records and update the CRM system accurately
Create and manage support tickets
Draft and maintain processes to support ISO certification compliance
Order parts with a high level of accuracy
Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers by telephone and email. This includes troubleshooting with customers, many of whom might not have the technical knowledge that you do
Research and resolve technical issues independently
Help with setting up for ultrasound training days, which we run around 6x per year
In time, answer basic customer questions (e.g. "how do I export my scans from my machine?").
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer hardware repair
Experience working with electronics and circuit boards
High level of computer literacy (CRM systems, documentation, ticketing systems)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
Patience and professionalism when dealing with suppliers across time zones and language barriers
Desirable Skills (for full-time applicants)
