We are looking to recruit a Technical Services Officer to support our sites, working under the guidance of the Technical Services Manager. Whilst this role is based at our site in Clent in the West Midlands, you will be expected to provide support other sites remotely or in person, once suitable training has been received.
You will have an up-to-date knowledge of Windows 11 M365, be highly computer literate in Microsoft Office and 0365, including Outlook as well as having good organisational skills. You must be a confident and enthusiastic user of ICT, have good interpersonal skills and the ability to foster and maintain collaborative working relationships and sharing of good practice.
Main Duties include:
Assisting the IT and MIS team in the design, development, documentation and maintenance of a Local and Wide Area Network Infrastructure to link all Trust provisions, including colleges, schools, residential locations and remote workshops, taking into account the requirements of the RMT IT Infrastructure and Wireless Policy
To Install, catalogue & configure new equipment (including servers, workstations, laptops, tablets, telephones, printers, AV equipment and network equipment), updating, troubleshooting & replacing existing equipment
To support the IT systems of a number of the Trust sites as agreed with the Trust Head of IT and MIS
Working as part of one collaborative team to ensure consistent practices and procedures are in place across all provisions, inclusive of all hardware, software, telephony and associated services, to supply the day-to-day operation of IT services within all provisions as part of a centralised team.
