We Are BAU Group Limited is currently seeking an experienced

Technical Services Manager (M&E)

to lead the mechanical and electrical delivery on a high-profile project in the Newbury/Reading area. This is a 40-week fixed-term contract role with the potential for ongoing work within our growing pipeline of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all M&E aspects of the project from pre-construction through to completion and handover. Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives. Monitor and manage M&E installation, ensuring technical compliance, programme adherence, and quality control. Handle on-site technical queries, inspections, and commissioning activities. Ensure health & safety standards and regulations are consistently met.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an M&E or Technical Services Manager on commercial or mixed-use construction projects. Strong technical knowledge in both mechanical and electrical systems. Confident in managing subcontractors, resolving technical issues, and liaising with project clients. Excellent organisational and communication skills. SMSTS or equivalent H&S certification preferred. Full UK driving licence.
