We are looking for a hands-on and detail-driven Technical Services Technician to join our Technical Services team based full-time at our Abingdon office. You will play a key role in staging, configuring, repairing, and maintaining IT hardware used across multiple high-profile retail environments. This role is essential in ensuring KFP's hardware configuration and repair services meet the operational needs of both internal teams and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
Stage and configure a range of IT hardware/ software, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and vendor-specific devices.
Perform routine hardware maintenance and repairs to ensure stock levels of customer equipment are maintained.
Prepare and process customer orders in line with configuration standards and shipping requirements.
Log all technical actions and updates accurately in the internal ticketing system (Autotask).
Escalate hardware or software faults to relevant internal teams for resolution where appropriate.
Maintain the lab/workshop space in an organised and health & safety compliant manner.
Assist other Technical Services functions with ongoing support requirements as needed.
Work to internal SLAs and customer deadlines with high attention to detail.

About you
Essential
GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C / 4 or above.
Previous experience in a technical support or IT hardware repair role.
Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
Good understanding of laptop, desktop, and peripheral hardware, including printers and basic networking.
High standard of written and verbal communication with a customer-first mindset.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tickets or configurations concurrently
Desirable
Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or vendor-specific accreditations).
Experience working in an IT services or retail technology environment.
Familiarity with Autotask or similar ticketing/stock systems.
