About the role

Delivering education solutions across global markets, our world-class resources support hundreds of thousands of teachers and learners around the world; we are embarking on a new era of integrated digital solutions for learning, and now is an opportune time to join our dynamic and fast-growing team who are helping shape this roadmap. We need an enthusiastic and experienced technical solutions analyst to help us drive these integrations across our expansive portfolio of global technology platforms and services, recommending building new/existing capabilities, extending or consolidating others where appropriate.

  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as well as the ability to assimilate complex technical concepts, communicating these to clearly to a range of stakeholders, including developers and leads in the team, as well as across the organisation with architects, product owners and technology partners.
  • Owns the strategy of how the technology and data underpinning our range of customer facing, and business critical systems should be brought together, to establish a shared vision of the development of our Schools technical estate
  • An important team member, that drives discovery, collaboration and authority.
  • Develops strong working relationships with a global group of colleagues, and works as a valued part of a very supportive, innovative team where a positive, collaborative approach and a problem solving attitude are appreciated and rewarded.
About you

A natural networker, communicator and collaborator, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to think laterally and translate complex technical scenarios into simple language artefacts for non-technical stakeholders. You have a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer and business needs. You possess good time-management skills and the ability to learn new skills quickly.

You will have worked in the face of challenging deadlines and ambitious projects, syndicating requirements and existing solution parameters, synthesising these into plans for new patterns of architecture to established principles. You will have simplified complex problems, and guided solutions with both technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.

The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for new technology in education and a desire to stay up to date with emerging trends, tools, architecture and related standards. They should be able to work under pressure and be adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environment.

This is a role within a technical team, so experience with technical business analysis, or in technical architecture in general, is an advantage. You will have a background in software and/or service development, with systems integration experience.
