We're looking for a Technical Solutions Engineer to join us in creating secure, reliable, and innovative IT solutions that keep our clients ahead.

Role Overview

As one of our Technical Solutions Engineers, you'll be at the heart of the Technical Solutions team, building and supporting IT systems that keep our clients happy. You'll work on infrastructure projects, handle installations, and add a layer of security to protect data, all while bringing your creative ideas to make us even better. This role is perfect for someone who loves tech, thrives in a team, and wants to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

Build and Support IT Systems:

Design and set up IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud platforms) to meet client needs, ensuring reliability and scalability. Install hardware and software, like Unifi Wi-Fi or client devices, for seamless performance.
Solve Tech Challenges:

Fix issues with networks, servers, or third-party software quickly to minimise downtime. Team up with our helpdesk to deliver friendly support, meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Lead Installations and Upgrades:

Plan and execute installations or upgrades (e.g., cloud migrations, server updates), working with clients and vendors. Support existing setups like internal networks (Switches, vLANs) and broadband for smooth operations.
Share Your Ideas:

Suggest innovative solutions, like automation or cloud tools, to boost efficiency. Remain curious about the latest tech trends to help us to get ahead of the pack
Connect and Collaborate

Work closely with the wider team, sharing ideas and building solutions together. Chat with clients in a clear, friendly way, offering your expertise and support in plain English to make their experience awesome.

Who We're Looking For

We're after someone who loves tech as much as we do and fits right into our warm, collaborative vibe. Here's what we'd love to see:

Must-Haves:

Relevant experience (1+ years) in IT infrastructure, installations, or systems engineering, ideally in a customer facing role.

Comfortable with networks (e.g. Wi-Fi, routers), servers (Windows Server), and cloud environments (Microsoft 365).

Some know-how in IT security, like setting up firewalls, MFA, or encryption, to keep things safe.

Great problem-solving skills for tackling hardware, software, or app issues.

Strong organisation and time management skills.

A knack for explaining tech in a friendly, clear way to clients and teammates.

Nice-to-Haves:

Certifications like CompTIA Network+ or any Microsoft 365 intermediate level certifications

Experience with Linux & Apple operating systems

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) or virtualisation (e.g., HyperV).

Pay: 27,000.00-32,000.00 per year
