Are you passionate about making, creating and supporting others to learn?
We are looking for a practical, adaptable and student focused Technical Specialist to join our Architecture & Built Environment technical team.
Based in our specialist workshops and testing labs, you will play a key role in helping students bring their ideas to life, from model making and woodworking to laser cutting, 3D printing and digital fabrication.
You will supervise safe workshop practices, deliver training, support exhibitions and testing activities. And keep our facilities running smoothly.
We're seeking someone who:

  • Has experience in workshop fabrication or educational environment
  • Can support and inspire students with hands on technical processes
  • Understands safe working practices and equipment use
  • Brings strong communication skills and a collaborative, approachable attitude
Experience in CAD/CAM, digital fabrication or surveying equipment would be an advantage, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important.
