Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically capable Orthobridge Technical Support & Conversion Specialist to join our growing team. This multifaceted role blends second-line application support with hands-on technical and conversion responsibilities. You'll provide day-to-day support to clients, assist with front-end configuration, data conversions, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Client Service
Second line support from the Application Specialists to escalate support tickets
Triage, prioritise, and manage support requests in line with SLA targets.
Troubleshoot application and front-end issues using SQL, HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools.
Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication throughout the support process.
Escalate complex or recurring issues to senior developers with detailed diagnostic information.
Collaborate with internal teams (development, training, and operations) to deliver reliable solutions.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all support activity.
Conversion & Data Migration
Set up and manage initial conversion file structures and scripts on local Linux environments, ensuring adherence to naming conventions and version control practices.
Run and test data conversions in local, test, and live environments using Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS (S3).
Execute PostgreSQL queries and review CSV files to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
Perform script amendments and updates to the Python codebase, in collaboration with the development team.
Required Skills & Experience
Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, and CSS.
Familiarity with Linux, and Git version control
Understanding of database concepts and data formats (CSV, JSON, XML).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with attention to detail.
Good understanding of application/software support processes.
Desirable Skills
Experience in 1st or 2nd line software/application support.
Exposure to Python scripting or data conversion processes.
Understanding of healthcare or practice management software systems.
