About Us
Fleet Witness is a fast-growing UK business providing vehicle camera systems, telematics, and safety technology to commercial fleets. Our clients range from national logistics operators to regional service businesses. With a focus on innovation, reliability, and customer service, we're developing a proprietary platform that's helping fleets improve safety, compliance, and performance.
We're now looking for a hands-on Technical Support & Customer Trainer to join our team in Oxfordshire.
The Role
You'll work within a team as the first point of contact for technical support queries--whether it's a customer with a camera issue, a fleet manager needing guidance, or an engineer requiring help with commissioning. Alongside support duties, you'll also lead customer onboarding and training sessions to ensure new users are confident and well set up.
If you enjoy variety in your day, like solving problems, and can explain technical info in a clear and friendly way - you'll thrive here.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to incoming technical support queries by phone, email, and WhatsApp
Assist engineers and contractors with technical issues during installation and commissioning
Guide new customers through onboarding and system training (mostly remote, occasionally in person)
Support internal setup and testing of hardware (basic bench testing, firmware checks, etc.)
Log and track support tickets using our system to ensure timely resolution
Maintain product knowledge across our hardware and software solutions
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a technical support or customer-facing IT/technical role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, patient, and professional manner
Comfortable using and supporting web-based software platforms
Basic understanding of vehicle electronics, telematics, or CCTV systems (ideal but not essential)
Confident using software based tools
Positive attitude and strong problem-solving mindset
Nice to Have (but not essential):
Experience delivering customer training
Familiarity with telematics platforms or vehicle camera systems
Exposure to field service, fleet, or installation environments
What You'll Get
Competitive salary (26.5-30k depending on experience)
Full training on our systems and ongoing support
A chance to join a growing business with career development opportunities
20 days holiday + bank holidays, with an additional day added for each year of service
Company pension scheme
Friendly and supportive working environment
