Role Overview



We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing technical assistance on projects, conducting customer trials and demonstrations, and offering ongoing support to our clients. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about technology, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be willing to travel within the UK. There is potential for progression into a Service Management role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities



Provide technical assistance and support on automation and robotic projects from inception to completion. Conduct customer trials and demonstrations to showcase system capabilities and benefits. Offer prompt and effective technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems. Document technical procedures, solutions, and best practices for internal and customer reference. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and technologies. Travel to customer sites across the UK for installations, support, and training sessions.

Qualifications and Skills



Strong Engineering knowledge. Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role, within automation or robotics. and a strong knowledge of Kuka, Fanuc, Yaskawa and ABB. Strong knowledge of programming, commissionlong of robotic systems. Strong problem-solving and maintenance skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. Willingness to travel within the UK as required. Familiarity with robotic systems, PLCs, and automation technologies is advantageous.
