Storm Tempest provide Retrofit Surveying Services to our clients to support them in the delivery of vital energy improvement measures to their housing stock. We are passionate about helping households reduce energy costs, improve comfort, and support the UK's journey to net zero. We're looking for an organised, detail-oriented project support officer to help and support our growing Retrofit team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth management of our Retrofit projects from initial submission through to compliance and completion.

Established in 2005, Storm Tempest Property Consultancy is a multidisciplinary practice providing a wide range of professional building surveying, design and asset management services.
We specialise in providing tailored technical and strategic solutions for clients with existing property portfolios, primarily working in the public sector, including social housing, education and health.
Storm Tempest's business objective has always been to provide excellent customer service, based on our wealth of experience of managing property portfolios, together with our knowledge of the construction industry, to ensure that we add value to our clients' business operations.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised Technical Support Officer to join our Retrofit team. This role plays a key part in supporting our retrofit projects and ensuring smooth coordination across our surveying and delivery teams. The role will also entail supporting our Building Surveying Team in providing document control. Excellent oral communication and proficiency in using Microsoft Office is essential to fulfil this role.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with the Retrofit Coordinator, Retrofit Designer, and Retrofit Assessor to ensure project information is up to date and actions are followed through.
Book and schedule site visits for surveying staff via phone and within MS Outlook calendars/diaries.
Communicate with residents to arrange appointments and provide clear information about the retrofit process.
Maintain and update project spreadsheets, trackers, and databases to monitor progress.
Perform accurate data entry into retrofit software platforms and project management systems.
Support the PMO team with document management, filing, and general administrative duties.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative systems and workflows.
What you will need...
Essential:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills -- both written and verbal to make survey appointments.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
Desired:
Business Administration qualification or relevant degree
Knowledge of building / construction / surveying industry
Experience with working with public sector clients
Experience in Retrofit, Energy Efficiency, Construction, or Housing sectors.
