Job purpose

To survey Loading Bay Product Installation and modernisation works

Main duties

To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed.

The Technical Surveyor will work out in the field and will be required to attend the main office in Welbourn, Lincoln LN5 when required.

Carry out and complete technical surveys to scope an installation from start to finish

Compile and write detailed scopes of work which include customer and product requirements.

Carry out Q and A reports of completed installations where required

Project manage jobs

Carry out training with the engineering fleet

Produce detailed survey reports so the HOD and design team can specify product type and scope of works

Support the field installation teams and back office with live works scoped

Provide telephone support for the installation management team when required

Provide onsite assistance for the field teams when required.

Assist the HOD with large project surveys

Complete pre -start meetings where required

Any other duties as required by the Directors and Line Manager

Essential

Qualifications

GCSE English & Maths A*-C

Experience

Loading Bay Industry experience is essential, as is Installation experience of all industrial doors, Docks, POD & Shelter systems

Modernisation works of loading systems products.

Knowledge

Loading Bay Product Knowledge

Electrical & Engineering requirements of installing loading bay products

Skills

Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel

.

Experience with Protean is beneficial but training will be provided.

Strong organisational skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with individuals at all levels within the organisation, suppliers and our customers.

The ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
