Hours: 08:00 - 17:00

We're a privately owned bakery group with a rich, family-run, heritage since 1934, supplying major food retailers with high-quality products. Due to our continued growth and success we are now looking for a Technical Traceability Officer to join our Technical team and play a key role in managing our traceability systems across all four production sites.

About the Role



This is a unique and cross-functional position where you'll be the go-to person for our Stevens stock control and traceability system. You'll work closely with departments such as Technical, Production, Procurement and Finance to ensure smooth operations, accurate stock data, and compliance during audits and traceability reviews.

What would you be doing?



Monitor and manage daily reports to identify system discrepancies Maintain and resolve a daily "chase list" of traceability issues Liaise across departments to ensure all production data is accurate and up to date Support and lead system training for technical and operational teams Attend audits, site visits, and continuous improvement projects Troubleshoot and update system functions in partnership with Stevens support Assist with recipe integration and production scheduling accuracy

What You'll Need



Essential:

Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask across multiple sites Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset Comfortable training and supporting staff at all levels Flexibility to travel between locations as required
Desirable:

Experience with Stevens or similar stock control/traceability systems Background in food manufacturing or technical operations Qualifications in Food Safety (Level 3), HACCP (Level 2), or Internal Auditing (training available)
