The Opportunity



We're looking for a confident, hands-on

Technical Trainer

to join our growing team and help deliver outstanding training to LOBO customers predominantly across the UK with the opportunity of occasional overseas travel. This is a key customer-facing role with a mix of in-person, digital, and on-site delivery - ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes pride in clear communication, and enjoys making technical concepts simple and engaging.

You'll be helping engineers, maintenance teams, health and safety professionals, and operators to feel confident and competent using LOBO safely, effectively, and independently.

What You'll Be Doing



Training Delivery



Lead LOBO training sessions at our Derbyshire HQ, customer sites, and online. Deliver practical demonstrations, theory modules, and assessments. Ensure trainees meet required safety and operational standards. Adapt delivery to suit different learning styles while upholding course integrity. Carry out assessments and provide supportive, constructive feedback. Ensure safe and professional training environments at all times.

Customer Engagement



Represent LOBO professionally during training and site visits. Promote optional add-ons and system upgrades when relevant (e.g., Towerstores, wheels, accessories). Carry out basic inspections of LOBO kits at customer sites. Build positive relationships with trainees, engineers, and site leads.

Operational & Administrative Support



Submit accurate training records and feedback forms post-session. Keep our CRM and contact records fully up to date. Assist in creating customer-specific access designs using Visio (training provided). Coordinate logistics and travel for customer visits (UK & international). Look after your training equipment and shared workspace.

Team & HQ Support



Pitch in with warehouse activities when needed. Welcome visitors and support HQ tours or product demos. Support our continuous improvement process in training and product delivery.

What We're Looking For



Clear Communicator:

Confident and professional speaker with a passion for teaching.

Training Experience:

Ideally, previous experience delivering technical or safety training (although we'll support the right person to get qualified).

Customer-Focused:

Polite, proactive, and solutions-oriented.

Technically Minded:

Comfortable explaining system components, safety practices, and build processes.

Digitally Competent:

Strong with MS Office, Teams/Zoom, and digital training tools.

Physically Capable:

Able to lift and demonstrate full LOBO builds.

Detail-Oriented:

Meticulous with forms, assessments, and CRM notes.

Adaptable:

Calm under pressure and responsive to unexpected on-site challenges.

Team Player:

Willing to support other departments and help improve how we do things.
