Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am until 5:30pm with 1 hours unpaid lunch break

Purpose of role
As Technical Trainer, your role is to educate, coach and support team members in understanding and effectively using technical tools, systems and concepts.
You will be responsible for equipping new and existing team members with the skills and knowledge required to excel in a fast-paced, high-quality service delivery environment. This role is instrumental in ensuring new starters are effectively onboarded and confident in using the tools, systems, and processes essential to their roles.
In addition to supporting onboarding, the Technical Trainer plays a critical role in new client implementations. This includes participating in due diligence activities, developing and delivering client-specific training, and providing hands-on support during hyper care periods to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
While this is a hybrid role, the Technical Trainer will be required to be onsite at the Leeds Delivery Centre 4 days a week (or full time during new client training).
Key responsibilitiesDeliver engaging, role-specific technical training to new hires, initially focused on document processing and proof reading, covering tools, templates, formatting standards, and client-specific expectations.
Rapidly learn and understand new, process-driven tasks beyond document processing and proof reading, and develop the capability to train others on these processes to support business flexibility and growth.
Work closely with implementation teams during new client onboarding to support due diligence efforts, understand unique client requirements, and translate them into tailored training materials and sessions.
Provide in-person and remote support during the critical post-implementation period to guide teams, answer questions, and reinforce standards and best practices.
Create and maintain up-to-date training documentation, user guides, quick reference materials, and interactive training sessions aligned with internal standards and client expectations.
Identify training needs and deliver refresher or advanced training sessions to maintain high performance, quality, and consistency across teams.
Ensure that all training reinforces quality, brand, and compliance standards, helping to embed a culture of excellence and accountability.
Provide one-on-one coaching, floorwalking, and follow-up support during onboarding and hyper care periods.
Keep up to date with technology and process changes relevant to the role.
Ensure training sessions and materials are delivered on time and meet expected outcomes.
Works closely with operational, implementation, and quality assurance teams to align training with business needs.
Support client-facing engagements as part of onboarding and hyper care.
Maintain high standards for accuracy, consistency, and formatting in all training content and communications.
Take ownership of creating or improving training solutions to meet evolving business or client requirements.
Personal attributesAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and document formatting standards. Ability to troubleshoot common document-related issues and support best practices.
Skilled in developing clear, engaging, and structured training materials (manuals, guides, e-learning).
Quick to learn new process-driven tasks beyond document production.
Comfortable switching focus between different systems, tools, or client-specific processes.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users clearly.
Approachable and Supportive - creates a safe, positive learning environment where people feel comfortable asking questions.
A confident communicator who speaks clearly and confidently across all levels of the business and can explain complex information in a way that is easy to understand and retain.
Open to change and able to quickly adjust training plans when processes, tools, or business needs shift.
