Our Engineering Experience organisation plays a crucial role in guaranteeing that our engineering teams are delivering secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. In order to continue to achieve these goals we are looking for a Technical Training Coordinator to lead on ensuring technical training and onboarding for our product engineering teams is planned and organised to the highest standards.

Your Role

We\'re looking for a hands-on Technical Training Coordinator to keep our engineering teams growing and thriving. You\'ll be responsible for making sure that our new team members get off to a great start following a simple, effective onboarding process.You\'ll also be the go-to person for setting up ongoing learning - think training courses, conferences, in-house events, and special interest groups. Your role will help our engineers stay sharp creating a culture of learn-it-alls within Oxa.

  • Manage and enhance engineering onboarding processes. This will involve partnering with Product Engineering managers to coordinate and schedule onboarding plans that are specific to the new joiner, reviewing and reporting on effectiveness and proposing improvements to the process that will enrich the new joiner experience.
  • Support L&D in the coordination of learning events, establishing specific PE cohorts, following up on completion rates and capturing effectiveness through delegate interaction.
  • Reporting on trends and completion rates for training delivered. Presenting findings to engineering leadership, highlighting trends and identifying improvements.
  • Work with HRBP or L&D to ensure training / development needs that have been identified within Product Engineering are discussed and the most appropriate solutions considered are carried forward.
  • Oversee ongoing learning and provide access to resources such as training materials, conferences, internal events, and communities of interest.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the engineering team.
Requirements:

What you need to succeed:
  • Experience in coordinating learning and development initiatives, preferably in an engineering context.
  • Understanding of onboarding processes and continuous professional development.
  • Ability to source and deploy relevant learning resources. Working with third party training providers to coordinate training initiatives across large product engineering audiences
  • Strong communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.
