Cambridge Regional College is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Hair and Beauty Technician

to join our dynamic Service Industries team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality education and training in our state-of-the-art salons and learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Hair and Beauty Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting both staff and students by:


Assisting in the preparation and delivery of practical

Hair and Beauty lessons

Managing

stock control

and ensuring timely

ordering of supplies and equipment

Overseeing the

laundry process

, ensuring cleanliness and availability of towels and gowns Providing

reception support

, including booking appointments and greeting clients Training and supervising students on

reception duties

and

laundry procedures

Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional salon environment at all times

What We're Looking For:

A qualification in Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, or a related field (Level 2 or above) Experience working in a salon or educational setting is desirable Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach to working with students and staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
