Overview
We're growing our team and investing in our knowledge base. Do you have a strong understanding and experience in structure and format of slips and cover notes and invoices? If so, you could be just what we're looking for. We are currently seeking an experienced technician to join the Gallagher Re Team within our Technical Operations Division.
Our ideal candidate will be driven to deliver a comprehensive experience; working with team members based in the UK front office teams and members of our team in India, supporting the end to end processing of premiums.
How you'll make an impact
Experienced in the end to end activity of all processing
Strong understanding and experience in structure and format of slips and cover notes.
Good understanding of Market Reform Contract (MRC)
Ability to demonstrate an excellent level of technical reinsurance knowledge and understanding of the ?Industry and its regulators.
Strong understanding and experience of working with the Bureau (Velonetic) in the workings of accounting and settlement (A&S) protocols and activity as they relate to the function of premium process and signings.
Experience of using all XIS systems - A&S, Insurance Portal, Account Enquiry, CASA
Knowledge of LORS? would be advantageous.
Experience of eBot.
Working knowledge of Excess of Loss, Treaty, Facultative business, as well as Line Slips and Binding Authorities, Consortiums.
Knowledge of a wide range of classes / territories /business types
Demonstrates a working understanding of resources available in relation to tax and vat requirements as it relates to premium processing activity.
Working understanding of the financial aspects of the end to end premium process
The role includes working with our Accounting and Credit Control Team to support the reconciliation and collection of premium and keep funding and bad debt to a minimum
Regular liaison with company Compliance and Regulatory Team to support the setting up of trading partners as well as ensuring we meet the required sanction and licensing rules are key part of the role.
Knowledge of Open TWINS advantageous but not essential
