Joining Engineering means stepping into a role at the heart of Heathrow's operation. We're looking for a skilled and safety-focused Technician to help deliver high-quality maintenance and engineering services across our T4 facilities.


You'll play a vital role in ensuring our Terminal 4 assets are reliable, efficient and compliant, keeping operations flowing smoothly.

Salary: Starting from 44,765 plus shift allowance.


Shift Pattern:

Weeks 1-3:

Monday to Thursday,

7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Week 4:

Monday to Thursday,

7:00 PM - 5:00 AM

Corrective and Planned maintenance of various Terminal 4 assets such as Airbridges, Automated Tray Return, HVAC, Water, Power and Lighting Systems. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on assets. Investigating faulty or poor-performing assets, identifying improvements and implementing meaningful change to improve the airport experience. Keeping records up to date, for example, the maintenance history of our assets, to create efficiency and meet Heathrow's regulatory requirements. Showcasing your passion for 'doing the right thing', by proactively spotting hazards, reducing risks, and creating a safer environment for all. Champion continuous improvement and best practice.

City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline. Please note a degree would not be equivalent to City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3. Full UK driving licence including the ability to obtain and maintain airside licences and permits. Strong hands-on experience, gained within an engineering environment. Analytical thinking and sound problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritise in a complex and fast-paced setting. Works well in a team with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
