In this position, you will maintain and install electrical and mechanical equipment across the factory floor, supporting machinery such as conveyors, labelers, scales, and process systems. Your responsibilities include conducting routine inspections, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and responding swiftly to any equipment breakdowns. You will diagnose issues and implement effective, long-lasting repairs. Collaborating with various departments, you will work to reduce downtime, maintain accurate engineering documentation, and ensure smooth shift handovers. Compliance with Food, Health & Safety regulations is essential. You will also be required to make machinery adjustments and perform efficient changeovers when needed.
What We're Looking For
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
Electrical qualification; familiarity with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulationsis advantageous.
Experience working with process plants, fillers, packaging machinery, and factory environments is preferred.
Knowledge of HMI systems is beneficial.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
