Traffic and Network Team, Pullar House, Perth
The role is based within the Active Travel and Urban Traffic Control (UTC) Team. The primary responsibility is managing the maintenance functions of the traffic signal assets throughout P&K and delivering both Active Travel and UTC infrastructure projects.
Your duties will involve preparing works orders, contract documentation, procurement of works, and supervising works on site. A key aspect of the role is the production of technical drawings and specifications using CAD software. There may also be the opportunity to be involved in the operation of the UTC systems and standby.
Skills & Experience Required

Experience in delivering roads infrastructure projects is essential. Experience delivering Active Travel or UTC projects is desirable but training will be provided.
You must be proficient in AutoCAD and have an understanding of the Construction Design Management Regulations (CDM).
You must have good computer skills and preferably have experience with surveying equipment.
You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross, and on occasion to locations outwith the Council area.
It is expected you will have well-developed written, oral and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate confidently, clearly and precisely with a broad and varied "audience".
You should have the ability to work well within a team environment and on your own initiative.
You will be educated to HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) or EngTech professional registration.
