To assist in the maintenance of the exhibits within the Visitor Attraction and ensure the building is operationally prepared.
MAIN DUTIES:
Work as part of the technical team maintaining, repairing, and developing the exhibition and buildings.
Provide technical support for exhibit and building services breakdowns, on a rota appropriate for Magna visiting patterns.
Use own specialist skills and knowledge to provide hands-on solutions to maintenance and development tasks.
Use own specialist skills and knowledge to offer advice, and guidance to other members of the technical team.
Implement preventative maintenance schedules, as directed by line management.
Ensure good housekeeping practices in workshop areas and around the exhibition.
Ensure any technical paperwork required for health and safety purposes is kept up to date, for example where exhibits are modified from their original design.
Deal with external contractors as required.
OTHER DUTIES:
To undertake training to enable the effective discharge of duties and responsibilities.
Ensure the safety of visitors and staff by adhering to health, safety and security regulations and practices.
Ensure that other operating procedures and company policies and practices are followed.
To work as part of the wider Magna team, sharing resources and improving the quality of the service delivery to visitors.
Make the best use of time to ensure the optimum running of the business.
Any other duties in connection with the position.
To undertake other duties as may be required by SMT commensurate with the grade and status of the position.

Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
DESIRABLE:
Light fabrication skills.
Experience in fixing computer and AV equipment.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
For the success of the organisation, you will need to work some weekends and Bank Holidays, occasional late shifts may also be required.
