You will join us on apermanent, 36 hours per week, term-time only basis

in return, we will offer a competitive salary of 23,339 to 25,825 pa inclusive of London Weighting (this is the pro rata'd salary)

ole:

To provide technical support for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities of our

Technician-Science:

Preparation of materials and apparatus for demonstrations and practical work including examination requirements as directed Installation, checking and implementing new equipment and resources and ensuring correct operation. Monitor stock levels using appropriate systems and inform Curriculum Manager of any items that need ordering. Responsible for the care and maintenance of plant and equipment, the upkeep of related service records. Assisting in the demonstration of techniques and practices to students.

Our ideal Technician-Science

should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

Educational Qualifications - degree or equivalent qualification in science subject Experience of working in Lab or Technical Proficiency and Support Good understanding of Health and Safety management Good IT and administrative skills. Understanding of legislation, policy and quality assurance related to Lab Commitment to Professional Development
