We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, providing the foundation for a successful career in the automotive industry. Duties

Assist with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance under supervision Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to perform repairs and assembly tasks Interpret technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections Support with equipment repair and welding activities as required Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards Assist in the installation and assembly of automotive components Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and practical skills Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle status when appropriate Perform heavy lifting tasks safely during the handling of parts or equipment

Experience

Basic understanding of mechanical principles and automotive systems is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial Familiarity with schematics, assembly processes, hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques is advantageous Previous experience in maintenance or repair roles can be beneficial but is not mandatory Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or manual work.
