our Traffic & Road Safety Team working alongside the Senior
Engineer to contribute to the delivery Road Safety And Traffic
Management schemes. Whether you have no working experience, or
those with previous technical expertise in the highways or civil

The
Role
As a Technician (Career Grade), you will
play a key role in supporting the Traffic & Road Safety Team
in the design, implementation, and management of Traffic
Management, Road Safety and Accident Reduction schemes . Your
responsibilities will include:
Conducting site visits and inspections to assess Traffic Management requirements
Undertaking data collection, analysis, and reporting
Assisting with the design and specification of engineering works
Collaborating with other teams and services to ensure effective project delivery
The ideal candidate will possess the
following skills and attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders
Proactive problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team
The role is career graded, so appeals to
anyone with no working experience up to those with previous
technical expertise in the highways or civil engineering
industry.

You will also be entitled to a generous annual leave entitlement starting at 28 days per annum (plus public holidays) Rising by an additional 5 days after 5 years& service.

This is a full-time position, working 37
hours per week. The maximum salary for this role is 35,235 per
annum, paying pro-rata for part-time hours. As this role is
career graded, the salary offered will reflect the suitable
candidates experience.
