You will be working with a very competent and coherent team who have been nominated and won multiple awards in the national pharmacy awards from the past.
We are looking for a technician/dispenser to join the Pharmacy team.
Must have excellent communication skills as well as a proven track record in providing impeccable customer service. Preferably someone who can work well under pressure.
Customer service is a key to the business and we always put our patients first. In addition, assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary delivers an excellent customer service and operate productively.
Duties
Assist with pharmacy operations, including preparing and dispensing medications under supervision
Support medication administration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols
Provide direct patient care by assisting healthcare professionals with routine procedures
Maintain accurate records of medication distribution and patient interactions
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy and treatment areas
Follow strict health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare team members regarding medication-related queries
Essential Requirement
An open-minded and positive personality is essential
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Dynamic and extremely organised, good attention to detail and high levels of concentration
An enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated leader who can support the business aims and objectives
High levels of IT literacy and numeracy are essential
Desirable Specification
Experience of working in independent pharmacy
Prior pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
Experience in patient care settings, demonstrating compassion and professionalism
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and safety standards is advantageous
