As a valued member of our Technology Services team, you will work independently but most frequently collaborate with our global team of colleagues and clients to help deliver digital, data and technology-based solutions. There are no boundaries to the scope of work you may be involved with, from traditional Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for cities and motorways to digital services for emerging Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) and Smart Cities projects. Decarbonisation is a massive societal challenge, so we are driving sustainable transport from micro-mobility, electric Vertical Take Off and Landing (eVTOL) services to renewable energy transport projects across the UK and internationally. You may be using your existing technical expertise and skills providing strategic advisory services through technical research, design and delivery but also exploiting and translating your knowledge you have learned into new solutions for new clients.

You will work closely with clients and partners, largely within the field of mobility and transportation, but frequently collaborating with other experts, including digital services, power and energy, environment and ESG, buildings and structures, sharing and exploiting your knowledge and experience for mutual benefit.

Job Responsibilities (what we are looking for)

We are looking for candidates with working experience in a technology related role in the transportation, mobility, digital and data, technology or ICT related sector, such as Smart Cities, Intelligent Transport Systems, Connected Automated Mobility. Ideally, you will have an appetite growing your technical knowledge which provides a recognised contribution to transportation and mobility.

• Innovation \xe2\x80\x93 as technology and expectations change daily it is important that you can be seen to be creative in how you work and the solutions you deliver.
• Resourceful \xe2\x80\x93 you will be able to scout and recognise new opportunities and develop technology related concepts and promote them for the benefit of our clients
• Continuous learning \xe2\x80\x93 by keeping up to date with new developments, technologies and skills helping you and AECOM push the boundaries of mobility through the next generation ITS, CAM and smart cities and acting as a technology scout exploring emerging opportunities within the Technology Services team
• Forward thinking and brand conscious - supporting identification and engagement of strategic partners and networking with industry to develop opportunities whilst raising yours and our technical and business profile.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Demonstrable understanding of transport technology - market demands, trends and challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, preferably in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications / Computer / Digital / Data Engineering or associated field
