We have a fantastic new opportunity to join Platform Housing Group as our first Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Officer -- a truly unique role where innovation meets people.
This is a brand-new position, created to help our customers live safely and independently in their homes using smart technology and digital solutions. From personal alarms and motion sensors to Smart speaker integrations and adapted lighting, you'll play a key role in helping residents stay connected, safe, and supported.
You'll be part of a small but growing team, reporting directly to our Technology Enabled Care Service Manager , and will help us deliver our new strategy that builds on the successful TAPPI 2 project (Technology for our Ageing Population: Panel for Innovation) which is aimed to improve the way technology is used in housing and care for older people up and down the country.
This is a great chance to shape how we use technology throughout our Retirement homes and beyond -- making a real difference to the services we provide and the way we support our customers. We want to ensure they feel confident in using technology in a way that continues to promote their independence, safety and connectivity whilst settling into a world that is becoming more reliant on technology.
While this is a home-based role, regular travel across our operational areas -- from Herefordshire to Lincolnshire -- will be required to visit residents and schemes. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. You'll also need to complete an Enhanced DBS check, as you'll be working directly with residents.
