Salary: A competitive salary from 51,920 - 77,880 depending on the experience you can bring

We've got 9 opportunities for Technology Leads to join our team. As a Technology Lead, you'll drive delivery across established teams, ensuring they build and run high-quality software that meets customer and business needs. You'll shape how information flows through our teams, improve processes and guide technical decisions to enable better outcomes.
We're hiring across several teams, each working with different modern technologies. Depending on the role, you could be working with - .NET, C#, Angular, Java, AWS, Python and PEGA.
Depending on which team you join, and your skill set, you will either manage demand, oversee development, support architectural changes, or lead release activities - while ensuring teams operate with autonomy and within governance frameworks. This role often spans multiple teams, requiring strong leadership and influencing skills to align delivery across a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities include:Bringing together cross-functional teams - aligning engineers, analysts, architects, and other specialists to deliver high-quality solutions. Your leadership will ensure collaboration, technical excellence and a shared focus on outcomes
Lead technical planning, estimation and delivery across multiple initiatives
Contribute to hands-on development, architecture and automation where needed
Own service quality - ensuring performance, resilience, and tech debt reduction
Manage defects and issues to maintain system stability and reliability
Oversee work intake, backlog prioritisation and delivery flow
Monitor development costs and drive technical efficiency (e.g. cloud spend)
Ensure governance and performance tracking through metrics and controls
Enable high-performing teams by embedding agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and SRE practices
Foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and a strong engineering culture
We'd love to hear from you if you have:Experience building software across platforms and disciplines
A technical background in roles such as engineering, architecture, DevOps, technical BA, or automated testing
Strong influencing skills to lead cross-functional teams without direct line management
Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle - branching, code reviews, release governance, and change control
Experience with build automation, deployment techniques, and production practices like observability and monitoring
Deep technical knowledge and ability to lead meaningful conversations across engineering and architecture
Familiarity with modern engineering practices including Agile, cloud platforms, automation, CI/CD, and tooling like Bitbucket or GitHub
Experience building strong relationships across senior stakeholders, product and delivery teams
You thrive in ambiguity, bringing a mindset of continuous improvement and adaptability
What's in it for you?We're serious about your future and our enhanced pension scheme is now in place. We ask you to contribute 3% of your salary to your pension and we'll put in 9%. If you decide to contribute more, we'll match it up to a combined total of 20% of your salary (that's 7% from you and 13% from us).
