BHSF are looking for a Technology Product Owner

to define and deliver technology solutions aligned to the organisation's strategic objectives. The role will shape product vision, translate business needs into clear requirements, and work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to prioritise and implement software, data, and process improvements that drive efficiency and enhance the customer experience.

About you



Responsibilities:



Act as the subject matter expert for owned products, championing their value across BHSF. Define and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap aligned to BHSF's strategic objectives. Engage stakeholders to capture business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and prioritise the product backlog to maximise value. Serve as the link between business and technical teams, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and meet user needs. Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and lead technology-enabled process improvements. Provide clear updates on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring solutions meet regulatory, security, and quality standards.

Knowledge and Experience:



Minimum of 5 years' experience working in agile, small change, and strategic project environments. Strong experience in product ownership, backlog management, and stakeholder engagement within technology-led initiatives. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver value through technology-enabled change. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as GDPR and FCA Consumer Duty. Experience within financial services or health and wellbeing sectors is desirable.

Skills & Attributes



Strong Agile knowledge (Scrum, Kanban) and software development lifecycle understanding. Skilled in requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product tools (Jira, Confluence). Strong data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. Decisive, forward-thinking, and able to work autonomously. Supports innovation, develops others, and passionate about making a difference.
