About Us

We are a dynamic and growing manufacturing business specialising in high-quality, regulated products. Operating under ISO 13485:2016, we are committed to excellence in every part of our operation--from development to production and distribution. With a strong customer focus and a collaborative team culture, we are now seeking an organised and proactive individual to manage technology transfer activities and support cross-functional alignment between manufacturing, quality, and operations.

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technology Transfer Specialist who will lead the coordination and execution of product and process transfers to manufacturing. This pivotal role ensures that technical knowledge, documentation, and systems are seamlessly transferred to enable efficient and compliant commercial production. You'll work cross-functionally to support the introduction of new products, changes to existing ones, and continuous improvement projects--while ensuring alignment with regulatory, quality, and operational requirements.

Duties

Tech Transfer Coordination: Lead and manage technology transfer activities for new product introductions and process changes, ensuring readiness across operations, quality, and supply chain. Documentation Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive transfer documentation, including protocols, reports, process descriptions, and risk assessments. Process Optimisation: Support the development, validation, and scaling of manufacturing processes to ensure robust and efficient production. Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement to ensure smooth handovers and alignment of priorities. Bill of Materials (BOM) Setup: Assist in the creation and review of BOMs and master data to reflect accurate product configurations in the MRP system. Compliance & Quality Support: Ensure that all transfer activities comply with ISO 13485:2016, and internal QMS requirements. Participate in audits and inspections as needed. Training & Knowledge Transfer: Coordinate training sessions and support the transfer of technical knowledge to production and quality teams. Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps or inefficiencies in the transfer process and propose actionable solutions to enhance future scalability and robustness.

What We're Looking For

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and deadlines. Practical problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience with product or process transfer in a regulated manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ISO 13485:2016 standards (required or highly desirable). Previous experience with MRP systems and BOM setup (implementation experience is a strong advantage). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions. A self-starter who's comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving team environment.
