Job Title: Tekla Structures Technician - Structural Steel & Prefabrication

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Tekla Structures Technician

with experience in

structural steel modelling

and

prefabrication detailing

to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for producing precise

3D Tekla models

and detailed fabrication drawings, working closely with structural engineers, estimators, and project managers to deliver high-quality prefabricated and modular steelwork solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop accurate and detailed

3D Tekla Structures models

for structural steelwork, modular frames, gantries, and prefabricated plantroom structures. Interpret engineering sketches, GA drawings, and markups into precise fabrication models and shop drawings. Support the design and coordination of

steel systems

including platforms, supports, and secondary steel components. Ensure all models and drawings align with project specifications, industry standards, and BIM protocols. Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure integration of prefabricated elements. Maintain version control and manage drawing revisions per document protocols. Liaise with estimating and project delivery teams to align models with

prefab and site needs

? Requirements:

Minimum

2 years of experience

working with

Tekla Structures

, ideally within structural steel or prefab sectors. Proficiency in creating

3D models and fabrication drawings

using Tekla. Understanding of steel fabrication, modular construction, and

offsite manufacturing

. Ability to interpret

engineering/architectural documents

accurately. Strong communication & collaboration skills with

cross-functional teams

. Knowledge of

plantroom layout

and prefab structural assemblies is desirable.

Desirable Skills:

Experience on

data centres

, commercial buildings, or modular plantroom projects. Familiarity with

BIM coordination tools

such as Navisworks or Revit. Understanding of

DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly)

principles.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-60,000.00 per year
