Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tekla Steel Detailer to join our engineering and design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise structural models and detailed drawings using Tekla Structures, supporting construction and fabrication projects. Duties

Develop accurate 3D models and detailed drawings of steel structures and other components using Tekla Structures. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and ensure model accuracy. Prepare schematics, fabrication drawings, and assembly instructions in compliance with industry standards. Utilise software, software is required i.e. Tekla Steel Structures (essential) AutoCAD LT (preferrable). Assist in system design and construction planning by integrating various CAD tools into cohesive models. Review project requirements and modify designs accordingly to meet technical specifications and client expectations. Maintain organised digital files and ensure all drawings are up-to-date throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

Proficiency in Tekla Steel Structures is essential, with experience in creating detailed structural models. Proficiency in relevant CAD software is required i.e. Tekla Steel Structures (essential) AutoCAD LT (preferrable). Familiarity with schematic development and system design principles within construction projects. Experience with graphic design tools is advantageous for visual presentation of models. Ability to interpret technical schematics and construction documents accurately. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precision in all deliverables. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
