Summary



We are currently recruiting for a Telecom Billing Specialist to join our Billing Team within the Glasgow Head Office. Reporting to the Billing Supervisor, the Telecom Billing Specialist will assist in the smooth running of our Billing platform.

Responsibilities



Main duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Providing advice and guidance on billing best practices, and day-to-day use, of the aBILLity platform Resolving customer queries via phone and email- always with a focus on quality and care Supporting customers during their first billing cycles and helping them build confidence with the platform Proactively identifying issues, suggesting improvements, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the customer experience Ensure accurate and timely billing, start to finish, of the Telecom Billing process via aBILLity. Monitor customer contractual obligations Control SDR and CDR imports while reconciling the Supplier invoices with the NCS Purchase Ledger team Adopt the position of superuser for all NCS's billing software platforms Maintain and manage all rates, pricing and troubleshooting of NCS's billing platforms Provide analysis and reporting on all cost control and optimization of NCS's billing platforms Respond to adhoc report requests from the sales force and Directors Provide support and Training for all Billing platforms To support the business Service strategy and to deliver the required customer service and financial performance

Requirements



Knowledge of Excel is essential Knowledge of Billing platforms is essential. aBILLity, 2serv or Vantage Online knowledge is not essential but desirable Strong customer service skills and experience, particularly in a billing or invoicing context. Strong analytical and problem solved skills are essential Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize High working standards, accuracy in output of work Ability to work as part of a team and to your own initiative Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
