Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to lift, move, and place materials on construction sites or within warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate telehandlers to transport materials and equipment around the site efficiently. Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure safe and effective operation. Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate lifting operations. Load and unload materials from lorries and other vehicles as required. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the operation of excavators when necessary, providing support for various tasks on-site.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for operating heavy machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience operating excavators is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A commitment to safety practices and protocols on construction sites. Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
