Overview

We are seeking a skilled Telehandler to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. The Telehandler will be responsible for operating a telehandler to move, lift, and place materials on site. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery and safety protocols, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

Operate the telehandler to transport materials across the construction site. Load and unload materials from lorries and other vehicles. Ensure proper placement of materials in designated areas. Conduct routine inspections of the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the equipment as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations on site. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driving licence for heavy machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with excavators is highly desirable, enhancing versatility on site. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Pay: 14.50-16.00 per hour
