Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler to join our team. The Telehandler will be responsible for operating a telescopic handler to lift, move, and place materials on construction sites or warehouses. This role requires a keen understanding of machinery and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate the telehandler to transport materials and equipment to designated areas. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the telehandler to ensure it is in safe working condition. Assist with loading and unloading materials from lorries and storage areas. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow on site. Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding job progress and any issues encountered.

Requirements

Valid telehandler operator's licence or certification is essential. Proven experience operating a telehandler or similar machinery is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 14.67-17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends
