We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to move materials and equipment on construction sites . This role requires a strong understanding of machinery, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. the ideal candidate holds CPCS/ NPORS tickets and have a right to work in uk.
Duties
Operate telehandlers to lift, move, and place materials safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Assist in loading and unloading materials from lorries and other vehicles.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Perform routine maintenance on telehandlers and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Utilise excavators when necessary for various tasks related to site preparation and material handling.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for operating heavy machinery.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
Experience operating excavators is advantageous but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
A commitment to safety practices and procedures on-site.
