Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating telehandlers to move, lift, and transport materials across various job sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Telehandler will play a crucial role in ensuring that materials are handled safely and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

Operate telehandlers to lift and transport materials to designated locations on site. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on telehandler equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials and equipment. Dig and prepare sites as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating telehandlers or similar machinery is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Valid commercial driving licence is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
