Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telehandler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to move, lift, and transport materials on construction sites or warehouses. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Operate the telehandler to lift and transport materials to designated areas. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials from lorries and storage areas. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the telehandler to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate material handling tasks. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in digging tasks as required, utilising mechanical knowledge for effective operation.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment. Valid commercial driving licence is preferred for operating larger vehicles on site. Experience in digging operations is advantageous, enhancing versatility on the job. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols in all operations.
