Reporting to the Telemarketing Team Leader, you will responsible for assisting in leading the sales team. The team has 9 - 12 telemarketing representatives and the key focus of the role is to lead, coach and develop them ensure that targets are achieved in a compliant manner. You will be expected to support the team as well as maintain your own targets. A clear understanding of managing or coaching an inbound team is vital.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
To deputise in managers absence.
Dealing with call audit issues - feeding back to team members
Coaching and sharing best practice amongst the team.
Lead team meetings
Compiling reports.
Sending sales updates.
Addressing system issues.
Liaising with key stakeholders e.g. IT, Underwriting, Actuaries
Assisting with training of new staff.
Identify potential improvements and make recommendations to management
Actively support all team members and provide assistance to enable all operational goals to be achieved.
Skills / Experience
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding ANP target
Strong customer focus with ability to identify and solve problems
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to exercise judgement
Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow to meet individual and team requirements
The ability to work well in a team environment
Basic system navigation and Microsoft application skills
Good keyboard skills
Regulatory awareness
Preferable experience of an advised sales process
A self starter with the ability to work under own initiative and be proactive
