We are based in the heart of the old capital, Winchester, Hampshire.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

In short, we're looking to grow! We're looking for a tenacious and motivated telesales professional to wave the Phaon flag and stamp our name into the market, as the best logistics provider in the game.

The potential candidate must have previous telesales experience, having worked in a fast-paced business environment. We are looking for someone used to breaking down barriers and getting to the decision maker. Someone who is keen to engage with the unknown, build trust with potential clients and manage the relationship.

Don't worry about knowledge of freight, as training will be provided by seasoned logistics professional with decades of knowledge, and we are just looking for someone to make the first contact and generate workable leads.

If you've previously worked in a fast paced sales environment like Insurance, recruitment etc please feel free to apply.

This is mainly office based role, so you will need to be able to commute to Winchester, Hampshire, however would be considered hybrid for the right candidate.

WHATS EXPECTED?

- Identify potential clients. Self-generate leads.

Research companies who might need help from Phaon. This could be anyone from a computer manufacturers to distributors of shampoo! Identify who the key decision makers are, those that can decide what logistics company the business uses.

- Initiate contact and begin to build a relationship.

Time to make some calls, knock on some doors, attend trade shows and send some emails. Begin to identify the business' requirements and where Phaon can improve service and/or save costs in their logistics department. Ask to quote on specific freight movements.

- Operational Support

Once those contacts and live leads have been generated, we are looking for them to be passed on to our team who, between them, have decades of experience in the logistics world, allowing the candidate to focus on the next set of leads and pushing towards even more targets.

For the lucky candidate that passes the interview stage, this is what they can expect to receive as compensation.

- 28,000.00 Per Annum Salary
- Uncapped commission based on targets for activity and leads generated
