Telesales Executive



Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven

Telesales Executive

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and building strong customer relationships through effective outbound and inbound calling. This role requires excellent communication skills, resilience, and a strong ability to close sales over the phone.

We are a training company specialising in construction qualifications and we have a training centre is based 10 minutes from the A1 (Newark). We are open to the successful candidate working from home depending on their location however you would be required to come to the office once a week.

This is a new role for the company so there is the opportunity for the successful candidate to influence the direction of the sales growth.

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Lead Generation



Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote training courses and qualifications. Respond to inbound enquiries and convert leads into sales opportunities. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions. Follow up on warm leads from marketing campaigns, emails, or web enquiries. Maintain a high volume of daily calls while meeting conversion targets.

Customer Relationship Management



Build rapport with potential and existing customers. Maintain customer records and interactions in the CRM system. Provide accurate information regarding pricing, features, and service terms. Handle objections professionally and overcome barriers to closing sales.

Performance & Reporting



Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets. Prepare and maintain detailed call logs and progress reports. Provide feedback to management regarding customer trends or challenges. Work with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers.

Skills & Competencies



Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to handle rejection and remain motivated. Good organisational and time-management abilities. Confident phone manner with the ability to build rapport quickly. Proficiency in using CRM systems, basic computer tools, and call-handling software.

Experience & Qualifications



Previous telesales, call centre, or customer service experience (preferred). Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience of the construction industry would be advantageous GCSEs or equivalent; further qualifications in sales or business are advantageous. Experience in B2B sales

Working Conditions



Office-based, hybrid, or remote depending on your location. Full-time hours with occasional flexibility required. Performance-based incentives/commission available.
