Smart Cover is a flourishing insurance intermediary with over 25 years of experience within the insurance industry. To date, we have serviced over half a million policies and obtained a wealth of customers loyal to our services. Due to recent expansions, we have a new requirement for a reliable, energetic Insurance Sales Broker to join our team in our Watford office. This role would suit a career driven individual with 2 years?EUR(TM) experience in Insurance/Financial Services experience. Whilst being target driven, you will need to have outstanding communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with our customers in a fast-paced and professional environment.Job role

  • Ability to sell and up-sell a range of insurance products, including a variety of home related insurance products and gadgets.
  • Well spoken English is essential due to regular inbound and outbound calls
  • Working towards as well as exceeding daily KPI's
  • Manage objections and instructions in a polite efficient manner
  • Understand all organisation's products, services, procedures, guidelines
  • Adhere to processes, TCF and compliance/regulatory control frameworks
  • Maintaining and increasing the quality of service
  • Working 42 hours a week, Monday - Friday with the occasional Saturday
  • 20 days holiday per annum plus public holidays

They must work well under pressure, be a problem solver who goes the extra mile and someone who takes great satisfaction from providing first class customer service.

  • At least 2 years' experience in Insurance/Financial Services sales.
  • We need someone who is friendly and approachable with customers from all backgrounds
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Able to follow FCA compliance processes
  • Must have good problem solving and reporting skills
