Our Sales team, based at our Barton Warehouse, are currently looking for an operative to join their team.
The Sales team are the main point of call for all customer enquiries so previous experience in a similar customer-facing role is desirable.
Day to day you will be:
Contacting existing or potential customers to discuss how we can meet their needs Answering customer queries and providing PODs and copy invoices when requested Updating the electronic customer log daily Managing online web orders, contacting customers to confirm the order and contacting suppliers/our depots to arrange stock requests Managing depot requests and liaising with the warehouse team to dispatch stock on time Keeping up to date on current offers and promotions
Desirable but not essential skills:
Strong IT Skills - Good knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel, Outlook and Word. Good base knowledge and an eagerness to learn. The ability to work well in a busy team environment, be able to assist colleagues and use your own initiative
This role is 45 hours per week within our operating hours, salary is dependant on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to 28,571.40 per year
