Description of the Role:



We are now seeking a dynamic and proactive part-time Temporary Admin & Events Support professional to support our chapters deliver high-quality events, branch meetings, and conference activities starting on the 2 February 2026 - 30 September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic membership organization and play a vital role in ensuring our chapters runs smoothly. As our largest chapter, you will be especially supporting the UK Chapter as they look to increase their events offerings to their members.

In this varied and fast-paced position, you'll work closely with the Events Manager and Chapter Leads to support the administration, coordination, and promotion of our events and activities. From managing bookings to setting up webinars and keeping in touch with branch leads, you'll be at the centre of our chapter operations.

Working remotely, part time 3 days a week Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with occasional requirement to attend team meetings and events in person, the ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills,

Interview Process:

Responsibilities:



The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Chapter Branch events: setting up of branch meetings on the website and coordinating with the branch leads ensuring that they get up to date attendance lists and keep in contact to see when they are holding other events throughout the year.
Support UK Chapter meetings, including occasional attendance and follow-up admin

Assist the UK Chapter with their promotion of branches and conferences and other promotions. Assist the IAM Events Manager with setting up the conference app, managing delegate bookings and registration queries. Liaise with members and customers to follow up on outstanding payments, Maintain accurate financial and event records.

Requirements:



Experience in event coordination, logistics, or administration. Strong demonstrated organizational skills with excellent admin skills Able to manage multiple tasks. Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal communication Confident communicating with members, speakers, and suppliers Comfortable using event platforms, websites, and basic financial tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with virtual event platforms (e.g. Teams) Familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage. Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications Experience of working remotely (

) Experienced in events, marketing, or membership organisations (

)
